My new employment @ My.com

My.Com

So this is a bit delayed of a post but I’ve actually started working at a company that goes by the name of My.com.

While I cannot provide many details about my employment what I will say is that my days of android ‘modding’ can be considered over for various reasons, while I’m still contemplating doing research on various topics of the Xbox360 I don’t know if I will be proceeding down that path either.

It was a fun few years toying with the security implementations of different games that most people had already been playing with and defeating the said to be ‘impossible’ games to mod.

I hope some of you were actually able to retrieve something more then just cheats from games from the information I have provided and we actually able to learn some things such as programming, or reverse engineering gained skills from my various articles.

As time goes on who knows where this site will end up, but I plan for it to be an IT/Programming/General information website between myself and the old defaced members managing it.

We’ll see how well that goes over and the writer who will be joining me in the beginning is none other then TDxSK8, if anyone else would like to join in on writing articles and providing customized solutions via The Defaced Security Team, I’m open to it.

Our goal here will become writing open sourced Content Management Systems, and various other solutions while always having security in mind… including the small things that get ignored by most vendors when other researchers are told their vulnerability is unimportant or not critical.

Hopefully we can provide people with something nice, down the line as we will be weekend warriors providing you with our own experiences between the work days.

It’s funny how things have turned in the past 10-13 years or so, I’ve had fun every step of the way and The Defaced was founded in 2004 without it I would never be where I am now in my life.

Which is living happily after various amounts of trouble, stress, life changing events, and literal clinically insane moments where medication was being introduced without doctors fully knowing the effects.

We’ll see how things go from here and hope for the best.

All in all though you can consider game-modding sections on this website as closed, while I start to lean more towards advice, software development, in-depth technology discussion, and I’m also going to start publishing articles on security and the do(s) and do not(s) of general practice on security.

I know I’ve previously written something about this on Shared Hosting, but there is more to it then just that I’ll be covering it in a new article.

Thanks for reading and hope you guys all stay tuned towards the development of things here at The Defaced.

Also don’t forget to checkout the first game I’ll be assisting in the launch of as an IT http://www.worldofspeed.com.

I learnt a lot from you during the escapades with FlyFF. I worked for you on your server, alongside a few other TD members such as SK8 and Slinky. Appreciate everything you did back then, and still benefiting from it now.
